Incentive Rewards Overview

Safety Pays allows its customers a variety of "incentive awards" approaches for rewarding the workforce. The vast majority of our clients use cash for their safety incentive rewards. After all, cash is king with most employees! In a recent study conducted by Smart Workplace Practices, 80% of employees rated cash as an extremely effective award.

Nevertheless, many companies either as a matter of corporate policy or because of regulatory compliance issues in their locales, prefer non-cash incentive awards. Safety Pays now offers a full line of incentive prizes starting as low $10 for items (which includes shipping). So that the prize levels match the incremental increases in the Safety Pays jackpot as each game progresses, prize levels* frequently change as provided in the following sample chart:

Prize Level Prize Cost

1 $10
2 $20
3 $30
4 $40
5 $50

Employees may redeem their jackpot rewards as they win each game round, or may cumulate safety jackpot dollars to redeem more valuable prizes in the future. In addition, for companies which wish to increase the number of employees winning with each game round, our "prize" approach allows for multiple winners at lower jackpot levels.

Safety Pays also provides a number of other innovative non-cash incentive award techniques besides actual prizes. For example, some companies prefer to award "time-off" to winning employees based on the size of the jackpot (ie. $50 = a half day off, $100 = full day off, etc.). Other companies utilize gift certificates matching the dollar amounts for employee redemption at the local Wal-Mart, neighborhood restaurant or movie theatre. The point is that Safety Pays can offer a variety of incentive award approaches to meet management criteria while providing a strong motivational influence on the workforce.
